ANNUAL BANQUET – SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025

This year’s banquet will be held at the Encore Event Center. The Encore Event Center is located at 8253 Ronson Road in Kearny Mesa area San Diego, approximately 10 miles northwest of SDSU (map link below). Onsite hotel parking for the event is free for the event. Street parking is also available.
Join us for a delightful SATURDAY evening event starting with a social hour at 6pm, featuring a no-host cash bar. Dinner will be served at 7pm, followed by the evening’s program, including an overview of the department presented by Dr. Jessica Whiteside, the Department Chair
The Baylor Brooks Honored Alumni Award will be presented to this year’s three deserving recipients: Dr. Vic Camp, Kevin Robinson, and Isabelle Sacramento-McJilton. These long-time department lecturers have educated tens of thousands of SDSU students and are deservingly honored for their dedication to supporting students in achieving their academic goals. Plus, tow of them are proud graduates of the department!
The dinner will be buffet-style. The Italian buffet selections include Italian antipasto salad, garlic butter breadsticks, lemon chicken piccata, eggplant parmesan, and dessert.
A silent auction will be set up at the start of the evening and will wrap up after the evening’s program. If you have any items to donate to the auction, please bring them at 6pm and/or contact Sue at s.tanges@att.net Remember to bring cash/check for your silent auction “wins” or prepare to Zelle me!
